New Day, New Series, New Opponent: Phillies Take On D-Backs in NLCS

The Philadelphia Phillies face the Arizona Diamondbacks (aka D-Backs) in the National League Conference Series (NLCS).

Game 1 starts at Citizens Bank Park (CBP) tonight with first pitch slated for 8:07 p.m..on TBS

According to MLB.com, announced starters are  Zack Wheeler (13-6, 3.61 and 1-0, 2.08).  For D-Backs it will be Zac Gallen (17-9, ERA of 3.47.) and in the 2023  postseason he is 2-0 and ERA of 3.18.

This is the first postseason matchup for the Phillies and D-Backs. The Phillies won the season series 4 to 3 

Announced Game 2 Starters are Merrill Kelly for the D-Back and Aaron Nola for the Phils’
