NOVA, Bucks County’s comprehensive crime victim services agency, recently received a donation of $1,820 representing the proceeds of the 2025 Doylestown Santa Crawl, helping to support the organization’s victim services and education programs.
The Santa Crawl is an annual event where people dress as either Santa Claus, an elf or in holiday attire, and visit bars in Doylestown. The goal of the Santa Crawl is to celebrate the holiday season while supporting a nonprofit organization. Brian Compas, the Doylestown Santa Crawl organizer, was inspired by the Philadelphia Santa Crawl, and decided to create the same holiday fun atmosphere in Doylestown. 2025 was the fifth year the Doylestown Santa Crawl took place with nearly 50 people participating.
“We sincerely appreciate Brian Compas and everyone who participated in the 2025 Santa Crawl for their donation of $1,820,” said Penny Ettinger, Executive Director, NOVA. “This festive tradition continues to make a meaningful difference for those we serve.”
“I decided that Doylestown would be a great location to create the Santa Crawl’s holiday fun atmosphere,” said Brian Compas, Santa Crawl organizer. “I also thought it would be a good idea to raise money for a charitable organization that serves our local community.” He added: “I chose NOVA since they helped my family during a difficult time with securing the right services and resources that we needed.”
