PennDOT Invites Public to Help Make Pennsylvania Roads Safer

PennDOT is inviting Pennsylvanians to share their thoughts on traffic safety and everyday driving habits through a short, anonymous online survey. It’s open now through Feb. 28 at this link

Your input helps guide safety programs across the Commonwealth—covering topics like seat belt use, distracted or impaired driving, speeding, and bicycle, pedestrian, and motorcycle safety.

Traffic fatalities declined to 1,127 in 2024 — the second-lowest total since recordkeeping began in 1928. Early data suggests fatalities may decrease again in 2025, underscoring that continued safety efforts are making a meaningful difference.

Past surveys have led directly to real-world action, including safety campaigns that remind drivers how their choices impact the people they love.

The survey takes about five minutes to complete and is completely anonymous.
