Everyone on the digital highway has an opinion about something, wanted or not,  and in that spirit PennDOT is hoping the keyboard kings and queens of Lower Bucks County will offer their solicited points of view on its construction and maintenance services through an online survey

The online survey, available now through October 21. The 22-question survey asks about your experience with road and bridge projects, how you receive PennDOT-related information, and how the department handles reports of roadway concerns. It also includes questions about the 511PA travel information system.

So far this year, PennDOT reports having improved more than 2,600 miles of road, including over 900 miles of paving, and begun work on more than 230 bridges. This annual survey gives residents a chance to share their thoughts on how the department is performing and where there is room for improvement, officials said.

An interesting PennDOT related service the public might be totally unaware of is the emergency towing service offered in the Philadelphia region. Lower Bucks Source discovered the PennDOT roadside assistance effort in a serendipitous situation. Running out of gas on I-95.  You might want to comment on that or other dept of transportation services.

Letting PennDOT know what is working—and what isn’t—can help inform future planning and identify areas where communication and service could be strengthened. The survey is available now here.
