The Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza, presented by Mancuso Show Management, returns this Thursday to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center – located at 100 Station Avenue in Oaks PA – for the weekend to showcase over 800 works of textile art, vendors, workshops, lectures, a fashion show and product demos.
The 2025 national competition held from September 11 to September 14 invites quilters from across the country to compete for Best of Show and other awards.
This year’s theme is “The Cutting Edge,” challenges quilt entrants to interpret this theme to complete their quilt designs. In addition to the competition quilts, over 30 special exhibitions from regional guilds and traveling groups will be on display. A new addition this year is a Mancuso Show Management-sponsored juried exhibition, Celebration of Women: A Quilter’s Perspective, said officials.

The Merchant’s Mall will offer a variety of shopping options for sewing machines, fabrics, notions and more. Festival attendees can attend, at no additional charge, several midday lectures and product demonstrations. New activities include Fashion Friday – a fashion show with participation from our attendees and Sticker Saturday – a chance to win a prize. Those quilters and textile artists interested in learning techniques can preregister and take a workshop from the distinguished faculty.
The show is open to the public with a general admission price of $18. This includes re-admission for all daysand can be purchased on-site during show hours. Sunday only general admission is $16.
