In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, which has devastated the southeast, Trans-Bridge Lines motorcoach company is taking action by “stuffing a bus” with much-needed supplies.

President, Tom JeBran, has launched a local donation drive to send critical items to those in need.

“We are asking our employees, customers, local businesses, and Lehigh Valley communities to join together to assist areas that have been decimated by the hurricane,”  JeBran said.

Beginning Thursday, October 3, Trans-Bridge will be accepting donations at its Lehigh Valley Industrial Park facility located at 2012 Industrial Drive, Bethlehem. Any business, group, or individual who wishes to drop off items, may do so between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. or Friday from 8 a.m. to noon. A list of items being collected is available at www.transbridgelines.com/alerts.

On Friday evening, a motorcoach will depart for Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, where a central donation center has been set up as a distribution point. The donation center is under the direction of the City of Pigeon Forge, Pigeon Forge Tourism, and Pigeon Forge Police.

Trans-Bridge is requesting that boxes containing multiple items be labeled with what is inside in order to make sorting, loading, and transporting easier. Boxes containing several items that are the same or larger items such as boxes of diapers, do not need to be marked and will be sorted by Trans-Bridge employees.

Donations Requested:

  • Trash Bags
  • Work Gloves
  • Masks (including dust masks)
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Disinfecting Wipes
  • Diapers
  • Bottled Water
  • Baby Formula, Food & Wipes
