PennDOT announced that weeknight bridge repair will close the ramp from Business U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) to eastbound Interstate 295 and restrict lanes on I-295 in Middletown and Lower Makefield townships, beginning on Monday, September 21.
Drivers are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, September 21, from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, the ramp from Business U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) to eastbound I-295 will be closed and detoured. During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Business U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway), Woodbourne Road, Route 213 (Old Lincoln Highway/Maple Avenue), and U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway).
- Monday, September 21, through Friday, October 2, from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, alternating lane closures will be in place on I-295 Mondays through Thursdays between Business U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) and Route 332 (Yardley Newtown Road).
