The rain finally stopped  and even though there were overcast skies, that didn’t dampen turnout for Memorial Day on Monday.

In Bristol Borough at Veterans Memorial triangle in Harriman  a solemn ceremony was held with about three dozen attendees that started off at 9:30 am. remembering those who gave all for the freedoms enjoyed today.

The service concluded with the traditional laying of the wreath at the memorial and the playing of Taps and shots fired into the sky.
