Bristol McDonald’s Reopens Indoor Dining

Update May 28 3 pm

The reskinning of the Mc Donald’s located at the Bristol Park Shopping center looks to be in its final hours as indoor dining area was reopened in recent days Work crews were seen last Thursday performing ‘final touches” to new look fast food burger eatery.

Signage posted outside the world famous restaurant said indoor dining was available at the 75 Bristol Commerce Park location.

The McDonalds in the Bristol Park Shopping Center makeover began last week.

The “reskinning” project was approved by Bristol Borough Council last year

The redevelopment plan calls for: replacing the mansard roof, redoing the inside and outside of the fast food site so its looks similar to those  the Delaware Valley area, removal of the bay window, adding a vestibule for additional office space, becoming ADA compliant for people with challenges, and a reduction of the overall size of the site by 19 feet.

Also included, is the installation of a new sidewalk, at the franchisee’s cost, located  entrance way intersection to the shopping center.

New landscaping is also part of the plan, with the addition of nine trees and creating four new parking spaces.

In 2020, The Chronicle Online reported McDonald’s was investing, 6 billion for store remodeling across the nation.

This will be a major overhaul said representatives for the franchisee.

 

According to signage at the site, work is expected to be completed by May 2, the day set for re-opening the location.
