The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that various construction activities are scheduled in March on Langhorne-Yardley Road and Woodbourne Road under a $10.9 million project to improve traffic congestion and safety on Langhorne-Yardley Road at the Bridgetown Pike and Woodbourne Road intersections in Middletown Township,
Drivers are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, March 2, through Tuesday, March 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a periodic lane closure with flagging will occur weekdays on Langhorne-Yardley Road between Bridgetown Pike and Briggs Road.
- Monday, March 2, through Tuesday, March 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a periodic lane closure with flagging will occur weekdays on Woodbourne Road between Kilburn Road and the entrance to Core Creek Park.
- Monday, March 2, through Tuesday, March 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a periodic lane closure with flagging will occur weekdays on Ellis Road between Fulling Mill Road and Woodbourne Road.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when travelling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
