Ever wanted to feel what it’s like to jet ski on the Delaware River speeding by the Bristol Wharf? RideNow PowerSports has just brought that dream one step closer for those who dare.
The company with the branding of “RideNow” just opened its newest location 100 commerce circle Bristol, where the “Old” Walmart, Bristol Indoor Flea Market and Total Liquidator once called home earlier this month.
It “is one of the largest dealership groups in the country with more than 55 convenient stores across the United States. We are proud to have over 18,803 new and pre-owned motorcycles, ATVs, personal watercraft, and more, along with the largest selection of brand manufacturers” a spokesperson said.
“Powering the world’s passion for adventure through outstanding service and quality vehicles that fit every lifestyle; delivering immense customer satisfaction and driving the powersports industry forward through state-of-the-art technology and innovation” is RideNow’s mission for the Bristol site.
Despite the company’s optimism, locals by a majority, were hoping a “supermarket” of some sort , like Walmart or a co-op market would rent the space from owner Brixmor Property Group.
Total Liquidators the last business to occupy the space opened its doors to the public in October of 2020 and closed two years later in December of 2022. Family Dollar Store, which opened in late 2020 just doors away, is still open despite significant dops of traffic flow into Bristol Park shopping center (AKA Commerce Circle).
Hope for a traffic flow resurgence came to fruition in early 2020 when the Bristol Indoor Flea Market opened. Impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic, the marker moved outdoors, later that spring and eventually closed shop in early summer for good, taking it with the momentum and resulting crowd flow.
