Falls Seeks Input from Residents On News Sharing Preferences

In an effort to better understand Falls Township residents’ news-sharing preferences, the township is seeking input in a brief survey.

The 13-question inquiry can be completed in as little as five minutes. The survey polls residents on their communication and social media preferences and is aimed at providing Falls Township news and updates on the platforms that align most closely with community members.

Falls currently shares news on its website, as well as its Facebook page and a bi-annual newsletter, which is mailed to all residents. The township also sends out news alerts via email to those who have subscribed to receive them.

“The goal in sharing this survey with residents is to bolster our communication efforts around the channels most widely used,” Falls Supervisor Chairman Jeffry Dence said. “We want to keep the community in the know about everything happening and upcoming in Falls.”

In a related Falls news item officials announced last week the township has run out of recycling containers and will let residents know when they become available again.
