Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph are expected for inland areas. Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph are expected for coastal areas. Some gusts near 60 mph may be possible along the coast.  Strongest winds will occur tonight, however strong winds may continue into Saturday, forecasters say.

Tree downings and power outages are possible, especially along coastlines, forecasters say.

It looks to be a busy night for local first responders because of storm impacts.
