Come on Out to Celebrate Historic Bristol Day Saturday

The 45th celebration of Bristol Borough and its history is set for this Saturday.

Tbe event includes entertainment, historical forums, crafters and vendors, an “amazing” car show, a sailing regatta, an antiques boat show, children’s activities and a food court with a myriad of tasty offerings will be held against the Delaware River shoreline on Radcliffe Street.

Co-Chairs for the happening received a $1000.00 check at the last borough council meeting for its sponsorship of the event.

This event has brought great pride to the borough and way for residents to embrace the historical significance of Bristol, officials said in a resolution read declaring Saturday Historic Bristol Day,

Organizers from the Bristol Cultural and Historical Foundation thanked council for their help and support.

“Without that we as organisation couldn’t do what we have to do” to make the day happen.

One of the opportunities highlighted for the public to see the opening of the oldest hone in the borough located at 910 Radcliffe St along with three gardens,

The annual riverfront tea and children’s corner will be open at the Grundy Library are other activities offered for the event.
