This Saturday, Sept. 21, Bristol Borough Council will present Oldies On The River, in the Mill Street Parking Lot, Bristol Borough PA. The event will begin at 6 p.m., with the pre-show starting at 5 p.m.
This year’s event features Forever Donna: The Ultimate Donna Summer Tribute featuring Philly’s Own Rainere Martin plus The Intruders, The Tymes, The Coasters and WABC Radio Personality Vinnie Medugno.

The Christmas Gala, which helps Seniors in Bucks County through the gift of giving all year round, located at 1228 Radcliffe St. Bristol, PA, is having an open house on various dates in September. The first open house was scheduled for last Tuesday but two more are scheduled for next week. Come join in the celebration of Lafayette’s Farewell Tour’s 200th anniversary. On Sept. 29 beginning at 2 p.m., join the community as it takes a grand procession from Adams Hollow Bridge; down banner-lined Radcliffe Street to Mill Street. Lafayette reenactor Ben Goldman will lead the procession in a horse-drawn carriage, with festivities and speeches at the corner of Radcliffe & Mill Streets. Formal dedication of the Lafayette Mural gifted by BMP Development Co. by muralist Jared Bader.
October Events:
The Rotary Club of Bristol PA is hosting their Golf Classic on October 7 at Yardley Country Club, 1010 Reading Ave, Yardley PA. This year, the Rotary Club is honoring the leadership of James Dillon. Registration for the event includes close course, driving range, raffle and prizes, contests on the course and a great day on a great golf course. Registration & Driving Range open at 10:00 a.m., Brunch at 10:30 a.m. and a Shotgun start at noon. All proceeds from this event will benefit the local scholarship fund and other Rotary charities.
Celebrate the 48th annual Historic Bristol Day on Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. rain or shine! Taking place on Radcliff Street & Riverfront Park in Bristol Borough, PA. Sponsored by the Bristol Cultural & Historic Foundation.
