The Popeyes location on Veterans Highway in Bristol Township looks to be nearing completion.

Approved by council in late 2022, work on the fast food eatery project launched earlier this year.

The 2,354-square-foot restaurant is expected to feature 20 parking spaces and a two-lane drive-thru that merges into one pick-up lane.

The new Bristol site is part of a much grander expansion plan, Popeyes officials told Township officials while it was going through the approval process.

There are three Popeyes locations nearby, at 1791 East Lincoln Highway in Middletown Township, in the Levittown Town Center on Levittown Parkway and on Trenton Avenue in the Morrisville section of Falls Township.

Popeyes is known for its Louisiana-style chicken and seafood and operates more than 3,400 locations in the U.S. and 29 other countries.

No opening date has been announced as of yet.
