PennDOT Continues Pothole Repair in the Area

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Friday that PennDOT maintenance and contractor crews will be repairing deteriorated pavement on state highways next week, beginning on Monday, March 18, 2024, across the region.

The work locations in the readership area are:

  • Edgely Road/Woodbourne Road – Bristol Township
  • Bath Road – Bristol Township
  • Bristol Oxford Valley Road – Bristol, Middletown townships
  • Wrightstown Road – Newtown, Wrightstown townships

The work locations in other areas of Bucks County are:

  • Route (413) Durham Road –  Buckingham Township
  • Forest Grove Road – Buckingham Township
  • Worthington Mill Road – Northampton Township
  • Curley Hill Road – Plumstead Township
  • Stump Road – Plumstead Township
  • Bristol Road – Warrington, Warminster townships
  • Rushland Road, Warwick and Wrightstown townships

Roadwork is also continuing in the counties of Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia.

Crews will restrict travel lanes on these state highways to patch areas of deteriorating pavement. Motorists are advised to be alert of this moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews. All activities are weather dependent.

Motorists are reminded to slow down in the work zone and refrain from distracted driving to keep themselves and our workers safe.

PennDOT would also like to remind motorists that potholes and other roadway concerns on state roads can be reported by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD or visiting www.penndot.pa.gov and clicking on “Submit Concern”.
