Bridge Inspection Set for U.S 1 in Lower Bucks Thursday, Jan 11

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced last week a bridge inspection is scheduled on U.S 1 in Lower Bucks County

• Thursday, January 11, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a right lane closure is scheduled on southbound U.S. 1 (Martin Luther King Jr. Expressway) between the Morrisville and the Fairless Hills interchanges in Morrisville Borough and Falls Township, Bucks County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

These inspections are part of PennDOT’s program to inspect bridges at least once every two years. The inspections ensure the safety and overall condition of the structures.
