Christmas Comes in July to Popular Levittown Coffee Shop

Looking at the calendar, one would say Christmas is in 150 days, but this was not the case for one local coffee shop where it was Christmas in July.

Even Santa’s calendar was wrong; Santa Scott, in his summer garb, was in attendance with many people at The Bridge, a coffee shop, on Bristol-Emilie Road in Levittown.

The weather outside was a hot July day, and people’s attire of shorts, t-shirts, sandals, etc. all shouted summertime, but the atmosphere inside The Bridge was Christmas. Activities for the children such as A Christmas Story and coloring, conversation, coffee, milk and cookies, hot chocolate and baked goods were all part of the event. Free pictures with Santa were also available.

The place was filling up with people even before the 1 p.m. event with more coming as the event proceeded.  As usual with kids, they were so excited at Santa’s arrival at 1 p.m. And Santa did not disappoint. He had many kids come sit with him, even the young at heart got the chance to sit with him. He greeted all with his niceness.

Even though Santa visited Levittown today, don’t tell the kids, and the young at heart, it’s still 150 days before Santa drops off their presents.
