“Same Owners, Same Good Food” Georgine’s Says as it Remains Open for Business

The owners of Georgine’s Restaurant  in Bristol Township say, they’re  going to be staying for little while longer, in a post on their Meta page.

The family-owned restaurant in business for almost five decades was put up for sale earlier this year, listed on LoopNet, – the listing no longer existing -. for a $3.8 million asking price.

Summer renovations have been completed and Georgine’s is still booking weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties, and special occasions, the owners said.

“We are celebrating 47 years as a family dining destination in the Bucks County area. Same Owners, Same Good Food and still reasonable prices! Come back and dine with us and see our improvements. Please spread the word to your friends and family Georgine’s is open” the post says.

An offshoot of the original restaurant, Georgine Jr.’s, closed its  doors on Rt.413 in 2021 after 30 years of serving the community and still remains empty presently. The property was purchased about 18 months later, according to county property records,  for just under $800,000.00  by Stalmed International, LLC, a company based in Delaware that specializes in medical devices, according to its website.

After news of Georgine’s being for sale started to circulate,  the owners acknowledged the news by saying, “Many people are now aware that Georgine’s is taking offers to be sold at a future date. This decision was a difficult one since this business has been part of the community for 50 years.”

The business is currently run by Rosie Reifsneider, her husband, Executive Chef Dave Reifsneider, Michael Nagle, and his wife Kim.

Brothers, Roy and Michael Nagle, opened a restaurant in naming it “Georgine’s” as a tribute to their mother, Georgine, who became the hostess when the restaurant officially opened in 1977.

The landmark restaurant in the Morrisville section of Falls Township Michael’s  closed for good last month with its owners retiring. The historic old school italian eatery willl be demolished in the coming weeks giving way to a storage facility that will be constructed.
