Memorial Day is a day to honor the fallen heros and remember the soldiers that helped make Americans’ freedoms stand free.
Most parades and ceremonies honoring their legacy and memory happen on Monday, May 25 with some occurring during the weekend before the designated holiday. Our list may not be comprehensive but here is what we know so far.
The holiday’s weather is not set in stone as it is ever changing from rain to clouds. As of press time, it is expected to be 71 and cloudy. Check with your municipalities or organizers listed for updates.
Bensalem
Update: Bensalem Township‘s annual Memorial Day parade has been CANCELED due to pending weather.The Veterans of Andalusia Memorial Service will currently still be held at 10am. Click here for an update.

Bristol Township

May 24 – Parade starts at 1 p.m. – This year’s parade will bring together veterans, first responders, marching bands, scout troops, community organizations, elected officials, antique vehicles, and neighbors from across our region as we honor those who gave their lives in service to our country. Update: American Legion Post 148 Memorial Day Parade 2026 is cancelled due to rain. The ceremony will still take place at the AME Church on the corner of Pine St and Flowers Ave at 0900. Out of respect for the safety of our community and participants, the American Legion Memorial Day Parade has been canceled. Click here for an update.

May 25 – Parade (Memorial Day Community Gathering) – Starts at 9am – Reception follows at 11 a.m at Historic Summerseat to honor Veterans and Fallen Heros. The reception features a Dining Tent, Free Admission & Food, Music by Traveling Man Entertainment, and Recreational Activities & Games. May 25 – Parade begins at the Newtown Commons (642 Newtown-Yardley Road) at 9 a.m. and continue down Washington Avenue, ending at Newtown Legion Morell Smith Post 440 41 Linden Avenue. Click here for more information/updates/parking and road restrictions.

May 23 – Parade starts 9 a.m. at Ford and Main Streets in Hulmeville, moves North on Main St, turns left on Hulme Ave, and proceeds to Bellevue Avenue. May 25 – Memorial Services begin 9 a.m. at the War Memorial on Main Street.
Warminster
May 25 – Ceremony at the township building starts at 10 a.m. The parade starts at approximately 11 a.m. from the township building towards Henry Road, left onto York Road, right onto Street Road then ends at the VFW Post 6493 on Louis Drive. Food and drink will be available at the VFW!!!

Yardley
May 25 – Memorial Day Ceremony at the Yardley Memorial at 9 a.m. alongside Knowles- Doyle American Legion Post 317 and Yardley Borough. At 11 a.m. the parade begins at N.Main St & McKinley to American Legion Post 317. Transportation will be available for Veterans who would like to participate but are unable to walk the 1½-mile route. Following the parade there are open houses at both the American Legion and VFW Post 6393. Click here for information.
