This week we visited the Falls Township section of Fairless Hills for our #FillTheSpot story and found a three acre space to fill
The site is at the intersection of Trenton Road and Arleans Avenue, and is described as a “prime corner development site,” according to Chichi E. Ahia, who is the commerical realator for the site.
Accoding to the online poperty records the site was constrcuted 1968.
In the early 1950s, Trenton Road was a dirt road that became muddy when it rained. Today Trenton Rd is a main arterial cutting through Fairless Hills all the way through to Hulmeville. It spans at least three municipalities; the townships of Falls, Bristol, and Middletown.
Two shopping centers are on Arleans Ave. The Dollar Tree, Fairless Hills Garden Center, Yordano’s II Pizza and other local businesses are on the same side of the empty lot. The other center houses Retro Fitness, Big Lots, Funzilla and more. Wawa is where Arleans Ave meets Lincoln Highway. There are also two residential areas near the site, Vermillion Hills off Trenton Road and also AvenRowe, a 55+ community, on Arleans Ave.
