From a cherubic child to a middle-aged veteran, the faces and stories of gun violence victims are brought to life in the “Souls Shot Portrait Project,” now on display at Bucks County Community College’s Gallery on the Epstein Campus in Bristol.
The free exhibition makes its debut in Bucks County and is open to the public. In addition, it pairs fine artists with surviving families to create deeply personal portraits honoring their loved ones. Dozens of supporters gathered for an opening reception. While there, attendees heard remarks from Bucks County District Attorney Joe Kahn, Bucks County Sheriff Danny Ceisler, and family members sharing memories of those lost.
The gallery runs through Sept. 17.
