Shop Rite Yardley Celebrates 10th Anniversary, Launches Caper Cart to Make Shopping Easier

ShopRite of Yardley is celebrating its 10th anniversary with its launch of Smart Shopping Carts which will streamline the shopping experience

The Caper Carts are part of a celebration at the store located at 1603 Big Oak Rd that will last all week long,

The smart shopping carts, powered by Instacart technology, allow customers to scan items as they shop, manage their budget in real-time, and check out seamlessly.

Caper Cart is free to use and also saves you time as it weighs and scans items as you shop. Try Caper Cart on your next trip to your ShopRite of Yardley starting Thursday 8/22!

The cart uses sensors, computer vision technology, and built-in scales to automatically scan items and weigh fruit and vegetables as shoppers their items placed in the cart.

Shoppers will be able to keep track of spending as a visible screen will be on the high-tech cart.  You can also link their ShopRite Price Plus cards to apply in-store savings and deals.

Checking out shoppers simply scan the barcode on the Caper Cart screen to launch the process, at the stores checkout area.

 

Store celebrations scheduled for next week include:

Daily samplings in the store’s beer and wine department

A Certified Angus Prime Beef customer dinner on Friday, Aug. 30. (Sign up at Guest Services)

Hatch Chili Festival at the store on Saturday, Aug. 31.
