NOVA, Bucks County’s comprehensive crime victim services agency, recently received a $3,500 donation from the Kutt Family representing proceeds from the 2025 Jason Kutt Annual Car Meet in October at Pennridge High School in Perkasie.
The event was held to honor 18-year-old Jason Kutt, who tragically lost his life in a hunting accident at Lake Nockamixon in 2020. NOVA Development Associate Ashley Doyle and Penny Ettinger, NOVA Executive Director received the check from Dana and Ron Kutt.
Jason was a car enthusiast and his family holds annual car meets to celebrate Jason’s life and memory. Car enthusiasts and people from across the region participated in the event, which brought the community together to share stories about Jason and cars.
Since Jason’s passing, the Kutt family has launched a website and organized fundraising events in Jason’s honor. These events are to raise money and advocate for safer state park guidelines. The family created a Facebook page where the family posts information on upcoming fundraisers and events. They also created a Facebook group. The Kutt family encourages community members to visit the website, join the Facebook group, and follow the Facebook page to keep up with the family’s advocacy efforts and support causes that promote hunting safety.

Jason’s mother, Dana, shared her family’s deep appreciation for the support NOVA and its advocates provided throughout the legal process following Jason’s death.
“NOVA’s knowledge, compassion, and steady guidance helped our family find our footing during an incredibly difficult time,” said Kutt. “Healing after a crime is not a quick or easy journey, but with NOVA’s support, we have been able to move forward with strength and hope.”
In recognition of NOVA’s continued commitment to victims and their families, the Kutt family donates proceeds from their annual car meet to the organization, helping to raise awareness of NOVA’s mission and the critical services it provides to the community.
“A heartfelt thank you to the Kutt family for their extraordinary support of NOVA,” said Ettinger, Executive Director, NOVA. “For the fifth consecutive year, the Jason Kutt Legacy Fund has generously donated proceeds from the Jason Kutt Legacy Annual Car Meet to advance our mission of supporting victims and preventing violence. We are deeply honored to partner with such compassionate and committed individuals.”
