The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Friday that sign structure demolition will occur next week on Route 332 (Yardley Newtown Road) in Lower Makefield Township, under a local safety improvement project.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
  • Monday, August 7, through Tuesday, August 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, periodic traffic paces will be in place on eastbound Route 332 (Yardley Newtown Road) between Stony Hill Road and the Interstate 295 Interchange.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
