Stoney Hill Rd Culvert Replacement Completed, Say Officials

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Friday the reopening of Stony Hill Road in Lower Makefield , following the completion of a culvert replacement over a branch of Brock Creek, as part of a project to replace four structures in Bucks County and maintain safe and efficient crossings for the traveling public.

Built in 1926, the Stony Hill Road culvert carries an average of 8,055 vehicles per day.

C. Abbonizio Contractors, Inc., of Sewell, New Jersey, is the general contractor on this culvert replacement project. Work was financed with 100 percent state funds.
