NAACP Bucks & The Peace Center Present ‘Integrating Levittown’ A Look Back

NAACP, Bucks County is proud to co-sponsor ‘Integrating Levittown’, a virtual presentation, with The Peace Center.

In 1957, The Myers’ were the first Black family to move into Levittown, Pennsylvania. They were met with resistance from white residents. However, one family stood by them despite the pressure- the Wechsler’s.

NAACP Bucks invites the public to the virtual event as they welcome the family members and hear their stories. The presentation will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
