PennDOT: Bridge Inspection Planned Next Week on U.S. 1 in Middletown Twp

A bridge inspection is scheduled next week on U. S. 1 in Middletown Township was announced by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Thursday. 

Bridge inspections are part of PennDOT’s program to ensure the safety and overall condition of the structures.  

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions, weather permitting.

• Monday, October 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., a right lane closure on Northbound U.S. 1 approaching the Business U.S. 1 Interchange is scheduled.

• Monday, October 16, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., a right lane closure on southbound U.S. 1 approaching the Business U.S. 1 Interchange is scheduled.

Drivers should allow extra time when traveling through the work area.
