America Turns 250: Lower Bucks Ultimate July 4th Semiquincentennial Celebrations and More!

America is turning 250, and local towns are pulling out all the stops for a monumental July 4th milestone that promises to be a once-in-a-generation, red-white-and-blue Semiquincentennial bash!

Philly is the epicenter of the action, transforming into a massive festival with historic block parties, a giant parade past Independence Hall, and major events keeping the spotlight on the city all summer long. Check the following list for Philadelphia events for the weekend!

In addition, Pennsylvania fairs will keep the celebration rolling through the sunny months. Expect classic funnel cakes, carnival rides, and live music mixed with special community tributes. Click here for the list of 2026 PA fairs.

America’s Block Party will unite communities nationwide on July 3 and 4 for live music, local celebration, and something new: a call to give back, launching Giving 4th. Bring the celebration home.   • Feasterville-Trevose’s America’s 250th Celebration
    • July 4 – Join the Hilltop Athletic Association (4100 Grove Ave, Feasterville)! Festivities kick off at 1 p.m., featuring 4 p.m. a $5 bingo, a 6 p.m. BBQ, and the 9 p.m. Big Show. No outside alcohol. Click the event to see flier details of all that will be happening!

  • Sesame Place 4th of July Fest
    • July 4 -The park is hosting a patriotic celebration featuring character photo ops and a fireworks display. Check the event for all details including pricing!
  • 250 Celebration at Styer Orchard
    • July 3– 4 p.m. Fireworks, live music, DJ, beer, food, and games for the kids. Bring your own chairs or blankets. Cost – $10 – $15. Check the event for all details

Levittown

  •  Independence Day Power Tour Hosted by 215 Mopar (4th of July Cruise Syle Parade)
    • July 4 – 8 a.m. to 1130 a.m. Celebrate the day with an Independence Day car cruise! Decorate your chairs, grab refreshments, and watch vehicles roll through town. They come to your neighborhood along the route that assembles at Carl Sandburg Middle School and ends at Veterans Memorial Park. Check the event for more information!

Morrisville Boro

  • 4th of July at Summerseat  
    • July 4 – 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Tours of Summerseat from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Reading of the Declaration of Independence by General Washington, then cake and ice cream after the reading starts at 12 p.m. Check the event and the Historic Summerseat of Bucks County Meta Page for more!

New Hope

  • New Hope-Lambertville America 250 Festival
    • Friday July 3 – Sunday July 5 – New Hope and Lambertville unite for a three-day America 250 festival featuring historic theater, live music, a parade, dragon boat races, and a 200-drone synchronized fireworks sky show. Check event for all activities!
  • Independence Day Weekend BB-Q
    • July 3 – Starts at 7:30 p.m. with Olivia’s Bridge Street Inn’s patio cookout and games. Reservations required watch the 9 p.m. fireworks from their private roof deck.   • Liberty Lights: Friday 250
    • July 3 – Enjoy front-row views of New Hope’s America 250 fireworks at the Parry Mansion lawn this Fourth of July! Gates open at 6 p.m. for music, games, and food before the 9 p.m. show.. Click here to get your tickets

  • First Bank of the United States Grand Reopening 
    • July 1 – The revitalized and revamped First Bank of the United States — closed since the Bicentennial in 1976 — reopens to the public. Check event if interested.

  • 4th of July Dockside Celebration with Live Music

Washington Crossing Historic Park

  • Independence Day & America’s 250th Anniversary Celebration w/Fireworks
