Brownsville Rd in Lower Southampton to be Closed for PECO Work Weekdays for Three Months

PECO Energy is scheduled, beginning next Monday, to perform utility construction on Brownsville Road in Lower Southampton Township, PennDOT said.

Weather permitting, drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:

• Monday, April 6, through Friday, July 31, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m, Brownsville Road will be closed and detoured weekdays between Creek Road and Creek Road. During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Bristol Road, Route 213 (Bridgetown Pike/Maple Avenue), and Old Lincoln Highway.

Local access will be maintained at all times. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area or along the detour route because backups and delays may occur.
