Newtown Rotary NextGen Fundraiser Parking Restrictions This Sunday

This year’s Newtown Rotary NextGen Fundraiser in Newtown Borough will be the third annual fundraiser, a celebration for the whole community to enjoy, but there will be parking restrictions in place.

The fundraiser event is scheduled for this Sunday, September 22, 2024 and kicks off at 11 am on South State Street between Centre Avenue and Penn Street.

Newtown Borough Police say the following parking restrictions begin at 8 a.m.

There will be no parking on South State Street from Centre Avenue and Penn Street (No Exceptions).

There will be no parking on Penn Street from South State Street to Court Street (No Exceptions).

The municipal parking lots will be open.

Police say the following  road closures will begin at 9 a.m.

South State Street from Centre Avenue to Penn Street.

Attendees are encouraged to use Washington Avenue and park in the borough parking lots.

South State Street from Lincoln Avenue to Penn Street will remain open for local residents only.
