PennDOT announced that a barrier adjustment will occur tomorrow night on southbound I-95 in Northeast Philadelphia.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Friday, January 16, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on southbound I-95 between the Cottman Avenue (Route 73) and Allegheny Avenue interchanges.
The barrier adjustment is in advance of an upcoming traffic shift that will move northbound traffic onto the median and southbound lanes so northbound reconstruction can begin.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near or through the work area because significant backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
