Barrier Removal Planned Wednesday -Feb. 11- on I-95 North in Northeast Philadelphia

PennDOT announced that a barrier removal will occur on northbound I-95 in Northeast Philadelphia.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

• Wednesday, February 11, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, a lane closure will be in place on northbound I-95 between the Allegheny Avenue and Cottman Avenue (Route 73) interchanges.

The barrier removal is in advance of an upcoming traffic shift that will move northbound traffic onto the median and southbound lanes so northbound reconstruction can begin.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because significant backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
