Resurfacing Operations Continue in Bristol, Falls & Middletown Twps, PennDOT Says

PennDOT announced resurfacing operations will continue next week in Bristol, Falls and Middletown townships.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

• Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 17, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Bristol Oxford Road between U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) and Business U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) in Bristol and Middletown townships for milling, paving, and utility adjustments.
• Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 17, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Penn Valley Road between New Falls Road and Fallsington-Tullytown Road in Falls Township for milling and paving.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Under these resurfacing and improvement projects, PennDOT’s contractors are repairing, milling, and repaving state highways with new asphalt pavement that will seal roadways and provide motorists with a safer and smoother riding surface.
