Barrier Removal Planned on I-95 South in NE Philadelphia

PennDOT announced that concrete barrier removal will occur at night at the of this week on I-95 South in Northeast Philadelphia.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

• Thursday, April 16, and Friday, April 17, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on southbound I-95 between the Cottman Avenue (Route 73) and Allegheny Avenue interchanges.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near or through the work area because significant backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
