NOVA, Bucks County’s comprehensive crime victim services agency, announced that they received a $2,500 donation from American Heritage Federal Credit Union’s Kids-n-Hope Foundation, which will go towards the organization’s victim services and education programs for children and families.

The Kids-n-Hope Foundation was founded in 1996 and was the first charitable organization founded by a credit union.  To date, Kids-N-Hope has donated over $4 million to local hospitals and not-for-profit organizations, including NOVA.

“This donation strengthens our trauma-informed services and prevention education efforts to help children and families build safety, resilience, and pathways to healing,” said Angela McGettigan, Senior Director, Operations & Community Engagement NOVA.

“We look forward to continuing to partner with American Heritage Federal Credit Union to make a difference in the community.”

“The Kids-N-Hope Foundation is proud to support NOVA and the vital role they play in providing advocacy, education, and healing to individuals and families,” stated Donna Handel, Vice President of Business Development, American Heritage Federal Credit Union. “This donation reflects our ongoing commitment to organizations that create meaningful, life-changing impact in the communities we serve.”
