The amount snow that blanketed Lower Bucks County Saturday night into Sunday morning varied only slightly from forecasted accumulations, topping out at 7.3 inches in sections of Levittown, according to totals from the National Weather Service (see countywide numbers below).
Although the snow ended, the weather service Sunday evening says the area goes “straight into the freezer across the region tonight as temps fall into the teens by Monday morning. Northwesterly winds of 10-20 mph will result in wind chills in the single digits to near 0°, and as low as -15° for the southern Poconos.
Watch for icy spots on the roads and sidewalks tonight and Monday morning, forecasters say.
Stay safe and warm out there and make sure to check in on seniors living alone who might be shut in, especially those who have four-legged furry friends.
