Verizon Pennsylvania is planning weekday lane closure in Lower Southampton next week on Street Road, Penn DOT announced Friday. 

The work is for utility installation and is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, May 19, through Friday, May 29, between Bustleton Pike and Harding Avenue. 

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Verizon Pennsylvania will complete the project under a Penn DOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
