Power Goes Out in Bristol Area

Power was lost in parts of Bristol Borough Sunday just after 12:40 a.m due to cable issues. 

The outage which impacted a little less than 120 customers in the area came as many were enjoying late night movie watching or communicating with friends and family on social media. 

PECO officials say the outage was most likely caused by an underground cable line issues and expect full restoration of power to those affected by the outage with work crews dispatched.

As of 6:20 a.m. 64 customers are still without power PECO said. 

Full restoration of power is expected to be completed by 7:30 this morning said a PECO spokesperson.
