Bristol Township Parks and Recreation extends the operating season for its popular Spray Park through Thursday, Sept. 3 so local residents can get a few extra days to cool off this summer.
The park was originally slated to close Aug. 30. Department officials extended the schedule to make up for hours lost to weather, holidays, and routine maintenance earlier in the season.

The Spray Park will operate on its regular hours until closing for the season at 4 p.m. Thursday.
The early afternoon closure gives staff time to prepare for the final performance of the township’s Summer Concert Series. Country rock band Shot of Southern will take the stage at the Bristol Township Amphitheater from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
