A Trenton man was jailed Sunday night for driving around in reported stolen vehicle carrying state identification from three different states with him.

Falls Township Police on patrol in the area of south bound U.S 1 approached a white Chevrolet Tahoe bearing a California registration. The patrolling officer ran the vehicle through the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) discovering it was reported stolen.  Police then initiated a car stop, activating head lights and sirens to pull the motorist over.

The as yet identified suspect, Senio Sterling, 29 of Trenton, was seated alone in the vehicle, ordered out and taken into custody by police, according to court documents.

A subsequent police search of the Chevrolet resulted in recovering a ‘Disney’ wallet, police say. Inside the wallet, were three drivers licenses.  One from Ohio, with a picture of the suspect identifying him as Bruce Wilbur;  a second from the state of Georgia indemnifying the suspect as “James Barlament,” the criminal complaint says.

Police ran the identities through the NCIC data base finding no matching results, according to Falls authorities.

The third ID located, was a New Jersey license, also checked through the national database, was found to be “authentic” and currently suspended, court records show.

Sterling was jailed Monday at midnight on 10% of $10,000.00 on charges of receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of a vehicle, carrying false identification and driving with a suspended license.

He is scheduled to appear for hearing on March 4 at Falls Township District Court.
