Falls Supervisor’s Approve Morrisville’s RCAP Grant Agreement

Credit: Submitted

A resolution to approve an intergovernmental agreement with the Morrisville Municipal Authority for a Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program grant was unanimously approved by the Falls Board of Supervisors in this week’s Supervisors’ workshop session.

To receive the grant, an applicant must have a local sponsor. The request coming to Falls from Morrisville is similar to what Falls does for the Pennsbury District.

The grant will be used for Morrisville’s treatment plant which is planned to be located on the U.S. Steel’s property.

Falls would strictly be the local sponsor and there is no cost, no risk, and no liability to Falls Township.

The Supervisors approved the request as Resolution 2024-23.
