A new donut shop is coming to Levittown planning to open this summer it was announced recently.
Duck Donuts, known for their fresh, made-to-order doughnuts will be making its new home at the Langhorne Square Shopping Center as construction is currently underway, a spokesperson for the company said.
Based in Mechanicsburg, Duck Donuts was founded in 2006 in Duck, North Carolina by operators Russ DiGilio and Robin Griffith.
The shop in Levittown will be the chain’s 10th in the state, with stores currently in Mechanicsburg, Lancaster, Hershey, Pittsburgh, State College, King of Prussia, Collegeville, West Chester and Allentown.
The unique Duck Donuts custom-ordering process lets customers choose from a variety of coatings, toppings and drizzles. Its most popular doughnuts include maple icing, chopped bacon, salted caramel drizzle, cinnamon sugar, lemon icing and raspberry drizzle.
The shop also serves its own branded coffee blends, espresso, breakfast sandwiches, doughnut sundaes, milkshakes and frozen beverages.

Currently, Duck Donuts operates in 19 states with 92 locations.
