Mail-in and absentee ballots have been sent, and Bucks County’s Official Ballot Drop Boxes are set to open Monday.
Drop boxes at county government buildings in Upper, Central and Lower Bucks will be open during regular county business hours beginning Monday, April 24. Ballot boxes in libraries throughout the county are scheduled to open May 1.

Each county ballot box is staffed by Board of Elections employees while open, and is locked when not in use. All boxes are under 24/7 video surveillance.
Voters are only allowed to return their own ballot, with the exception of those authorized as Designated Agents of another voter.
Voters are encouraged to fill out and return ballots as soon as possible by sealing their voted ballots in both the secrecy and return envelopes and either placing it in the mail, or dropping it off at an official Ballot Box.
For those choosing to mail their ballots back to the Board of Elections Office, return postage this year has been paid by the County, as approved by a unanimous vote of the Bucks County Commissioners.
To be counted, mail-in and absentee ballots must be received by the Board of Elections by 8 p.m. on Election Day, May 16, 2023.
