Besalem Blvd to close for pipe replacement work

Bensalem Boulevard will close 24/7 between Washington Lane and Craig Avenue in Bensalem Township, Bucks County, on Wednesday, August 4, through Saturday, August 7, for pipe replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced last week.

During the closure, Bensalem Boulevard motorists will be directed to use Route 513 (Hulmeville Road) and Gibson Road. Local access will be maintained during the operation.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
