Bridge Construction to Close Section of Newportville Road in Early June

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission will perform bridge construction on Newportville Road in Bristol and Bensalem townships during the first week of June,  PennDOT officials announced.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction listed by PennDOT:

Local access will be maintained. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike will complete this work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
