PennDOT announced that bridge inspections are scheduled next week on Interstate I-95 in Philadelphia.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, December 23, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., a right lane closure is scheduled on the northbound I-95 at the Route 611 (Broad Street) Interchange.
- Monday, December 23, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., a right lane closure is scheduled on southbound I-95 at the Route 611 (Broad Street) Interchange.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
The inspections are part of PennDOT’s program to inspect bridges at least once every two years. The inspections ensure the safety and overall condition of the structures.
