PennDOT announced bridge and sign inspections are scheduled on Interstate 95 and several other state highways in Bensalem and Philadelphia.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, February 3, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., a moving left lane closure is scheduled at the University Avenue ramp to westbound I-76 in Philadelphia for sign inspection.
- Tuesday, February 4, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., alternating moving lane closures are scheduled on southbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Expressway) between the Fox Street and the I-76 interchanges in Philadelphia for sign inspection.
- Tuesday, February 4, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., alternating lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) between Friendship Street and Ryan Avenue in Philadelphia for bridge inspection.
- Thursday, February 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., a moving right lane closure is scheduled on northbound I-95 between the Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) and the Route 132 (Street Road) interchanges in Bensalem Township, Bucks County, for sign inspection.
- Tuesday, February 11, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., alternating lane closures are scheduled in both directions on I-95 at the I-676 Interchange in Philadelphia for bridge inspection.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
