Bucks Co, Municipalities Announce Office Closures Due Snow Hazards

Bucks County and Lower Bucks County municipalities on Sunday announced office closures due to the impacts of Sunday’s snowstorm that blanketed the area with approximately 9 inches of snow/sleet, according to the National Weather Service that turned the lower end into slush bowl of sorts overnight.

Motorists please be mindful some roads, even though they were salted, in the area turned into frozen sheets of ice overnight.

Bucks County Govt: All offices are closed — All scheduled court proceedings, including those scheduled at any Bucks County Magisterial District Court, are postponed. Jurors should not report to the Justice Center, officials said. Employees should contact their supervisors with any questions.

Bensalem Township: Offices closed. Monday nights council meeting is cancelled with the next meeting scheduled for Monday Feb 9  in the Council Chambers of the Bensalem Township Municipal Building at 2400 Byberry Road, Bensalem, PA 19020.

Bristol Borough:  No information was publicly available as of publication time.

Bristol Township: All Bristol Township municipal buildings will be closed on Monday, January 26, due to weather conditions. This closure includes administrative offices and in-person services. Our Public Works teams will continue snow and ice removal operations to keep roads and facilities as safe as possible. Officials said they will share updates if conditions change or if additional closures are needed.

Falls Township: The Falls Township municipal building will be closed on Monday, January 26.  Additionally, Waste Management will be closed on Monday, January 26. Tuesday trash and recycling will be picked up Wednesday. WM plans to be back on regular schedule Thursday. Waste Management will resume operations on Tuesday, servicing all Monday routes at that time. Additionally, the Falls Supervisors meeting scheduled for Monday, Jan. 26 has been rescheduled to Thursday, Jan. 29 due to the snowstorm. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at the Middletown Township municipal building, 3 Municipal Way, Langhorne.

Lower Makefield Township: Due to the hazardous weather conditions, all Township offices will be closed tomorrow, January 26th, including the Community Center at 1550 Oxford Valley Road. Stay safe and happy shoveling, LMT! In the event of an emergency, please dial 911.

Middletown Township: The Middletown Municipal Building will be closed on Monday, January 26 due to inclement weather. For emergencies, please dial 911. Please stay safe and avoid unnecessary travel.

Morrisville Borough:  Due to weather, Republic Services has notified the Borough that there will no trash collection on Monday, Jan. 26, 2026. Service is expected to resume on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026. No information was publicly available as of  publication time.

Penndel Borough: Due to weather conditions, trash and recycling collection will follow a delayed schedule for the week of January 26. All scheduled pickups will occur one day later than usual. For residents normally scheduled for Thursday, January 29, collection will take place on Friday, January 30. No info was made available about for the borough’s municipal offices

Tullytown Borough: No information was publicly available by publication time.
